Effect of beta-mercaptopropylamine on the activity of acid phosphatase was studied in liver, brain, spleen, thymus and blood of intact rats. The effect was observed within three days after the administration of beta-mercaptopropylamine. At the same time the weight of lymphoid organs (spleen and thymus) was distinctly altered. The alteration in the weight of the organs correlated with alteration in the enzymatic activity.
