Abstract: Content of adenyl system components, inorganic phosphate as well as the glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase activity were studied in rat liver tissue under extrahepatic cholestasis. Cholestasis was caused by ligation of the general biliary duct. The correlation was observed between the increase in total bilirubin in blood plasma and the decrease in content of inorganic phosphate. The glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase activity was unaltered.
