Abstract: Some physico-chemical properties of beta1-globulin (BGG) (the protein specific for pregnancy) were estimated. BGG was shown to be glycoprotein, possessing the antigenic individuality. The heterogeneity of the protein studied was observed in salt fractionation, polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, ion exchange chromatography and isoelectrofocusing; this demonstrates the existence of various BGG fractions.
