Abstract: Endogenous saccharosuria in a patient with chronic pancreatitis is described. The patient was under medical observation within more than a year. During this period concentration of saccharose in urine of the patient varied from 150 mg to 250 mg per 100 ml, i.e. it exceeded the normal value by one decimal. High content of glucose and fructose/more than 1%/ was found in some samples of urine; oligosaccharides containing fructose residues were detected in urine. Free keto sugars were not detected in blood of the patient but positively charged keto sugars with chromatographic mobility could be found. Stability of high saccharose concentration within a prolonged period has been noted in urine of the patient with endogenous saccharosuria.
