Abstract: Partial hepatectomy altered the nuclear protein synthesis, most distinct for H1 histones, within 1,5-3 hrs after the operation. Laparotomy, administration of hormones and dibutyryl-cAMP did not affect the cell nuclear apparatus throughout similar to partial hepatectomy. The cell response to partial hepatectomy appears to develop involving a number of factors between which unspecific stress reactions and hormones carry out a definite role. |
