Abstract: A relatively simple method for preparation of a new substrate used in highly effective estimation of cholesterol esterase activity is described. Emulsion containing cholesterol I-14C oleate and unsaturated phosphatidyl cholines (70% linolic and 30% linolenic acids) was stabilized within three months.
