Abstract: Small doses of an exogenous protein inhibitor of proteinases ovomucoid, isolated from duck egg-white, exhibited distinct therapeutic effects in acute pancreatitis of dogs. The inhibitor decreased the lethality rate and exceeded the base Kunitz trypsin inhibitor in its efficiency.
