Abstract: The decrease of sorbitol dehyidrogenase activity and theincrease both of aldoso reductase activity and sorbitolconcentration in aorta or eye lens under experimental diabeticangiopathy have been shown. The structural and functionalalterations in erythrocytes membranes under angiopathy studied byspin- and luminesoense probes confirm the hypothesis on the majorrole of membrane pathology processes in the pathogenesis ofdiabetic mellitus. Pharmacological correction of diabeticangiopathy by glucophag or new antioxidant LBK-78 normalized thestudied diversions on the membranes level.
