Abstract: The effect of intravenous administration of lactate dehydrogenase (5000 E/kg) on somemetabolic parameters was investigated. The hyperenzymemia was accompanied by changes ofmetabolite content (glutamate, 2-oxoglutarate, lactate, dihydroxyacetone phosphate) andenzyme activities (aldolase, lactate dehydrogenase, transaminase) in heart, liver andskeletal muscles. Intraveously administered tritiated lactate dehydrogenase waspreferentially found in skeletal muscles, liver, kidneys and some other organs.
