Abstract: Postmortem skin samples of 50 women aged from 15 to 90 years were analysed. Protein and DNA levels were stable and rather age-independent. Glycosaminoglycane (GAG) level decreased during ageing according to linear regression equation: Age = 100.1562 - 0.3578xGAG.
