Abstract: A model of seven transmembrane domain (7TMD) of metabotropic glutamate receptor mGlu1 was constructed on the based of the template structure of rhodopsin. For improving of amino acid alignment evolutionary trace method was used. On the based of results of evolutionary trace method (for more than 700 GPCR amino acid sequences) and available experimental data dimeric model of mGlu1 7TMD had been constructed. Two 7TMD interact by means of V and VI α-helixes (more preferred variant in comparison with dimerization by II and III α-helixes)
