In the present paper we highlight the dependence of normalized mass spectrometry intensity on protein concentration. We have defined dynamic range of concentrations from 1 nM to 1mcM. It has been shown that the dependence holds linearity along the whole concentration range as for pure proteins as for proteins mixtures. Our observation revealed that the correlation curve possess protein-specific tangent between 1 nM and 1 mcM. The efficacy of the method evaluated by AQUA and 18O-labelling techniques of quantitative proteomics.
