| People are best described by their actions. Alexander Ivanovich not only created one of the best scientific schools in our country, preserved and increased the potential of the V.N. Orekhovich Institute of Biomedical Chemistry, which he headed, and reformed it into a world-class scientific institution. He also continues to develop new areas in biomedical chemistry of the 21st century, which have been recently highlighted in a special issue of the journal «Biomeditsinskaya Khimiya» (No. 5, 2024), dedicated to the 80th anniversary of IBMC. We sincerely congratulate Alexander Ivanovich on his 85th birthday and sincerely wish him good health, scientific longevity and further success. |
