Sulfated glycosaminoglycans at low concentrations exhibited desaggregating properties in neutral and weakly-alkaline media, whereas these substances at high concentrations possessed aggregating characteristics as shown by combination of biospecific and immunoelectrophoreses. Features of the phenomenon observed as well as specific reactions of proteins, glycosaminoglycans and cationic detergents are discussed.
