Histones H2A, H2B, H3 and H5 were shown to be concerned with inhibitors of heparin and its complexes responsible for nonenzymatic fibrinolytic effect on unstabilized fibrin. Inhibitory effect of histones on nonenzymatic fibrinolysis consisted in molecular reaction of proteins or amines substitution as well as in development of inactive complexes with heparin. Arginine residues of histones appear to be involved in complex formation with heparin.
