Biochemical characteristics of the blood from patients with febrile psychoses

The data of detailed biochemical analysis of the schizophrenic patientswith febrile psychoses suggest the differences in the blood enzymatic spectrum betweendifferent types of this disease (spontaneous febrile schizophrenia, malignant neurolepticsyndrome, generalised allergic reaction) The activity of the plasma enzymes is correlatedwith febrile syndrome and clinical manifestation of the disease, its highest level isobserved in patients with malignant neuroleptic syndrome. The role of the cytolisis inclinical manifestation different types of psychoses is discussed.
