The influence of g-GluHA andglutarylhistamine on the lipid peroxidation, cholesterol, phospholipid and liveraminotransferase activity was investigated using carbon tetrachloride-induced model ofsubacute liver damage. Pretreatment of rats with g-GluHA and glutarylhistamine preventedliver necrosis and normalized activity of alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartateaminotransferase (AST) in blood plasma, lipid peroxidation in the liver and plasma, lipidprofiles and cholesterol content in the liver and plasma.
