3H-Thymidine incorporation into DNA of rat spleen was increased 11-fold, as compared with controls, within the fourth day of the experiment involving two daily administrations of phenylhydrazine. HCl into the animals at a dose of 3 mg/100 g of body mass. Administration of 1 mCi of 3H-thymidine per 100 g of body mass enabled to obtain 3H-DHA from rat spleen with specific radioactivity of 30-40 x 10(6) imp/min per 1 mg of the biopolymer.
